Manchester United is reportedly keen on bringing Villarreal center back Pau Torres to Old Trafford.

United could face ardent competition from their town arch-rivals City for the 24-year-old Spaniard.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are reportedly interested in his signature.

According to The Sun, Torres wants to force his move out of Villareal this summer to join United.

Ed Woodward could splash up to £52m for the left-footed acquisition to bolster their defensive department.
